CETA Foundation was established to encourage people to contribute their skills, energy and time to making things better for both animals and fellow humans. The non-profit setting facilitates networking and resource-building to make it easier to get things accomplished. If you have skills and a passion for the following, please let us know!
- FOSTER FAMILIES We desperately need more people willing to take in an animal. There are numerous requests for help placing family pets, but we cannot take in large dogs or more than a few other types unless we have foster/adoptive families lined up.
- FOSTER PROGRAM RECRUITERS/MANAGERS We are logistically able to serve Sacramento, Yolo & Solano Counties but need help developing our program in all these areas. You don't need experience, just be a responsible, reliable person with energy and desire to help.
- NETWORKING/PROGRAM PROMOTION/FUNDRAISING We need people who will post flyers, generate interest in school and community groups and locate sources of funding for our programs.
- RANCH WORK There is always something to do at the ranch and can use someone who has a regular schedule to come in and lend a hand. The work will be physical, sometimes unpleasant and requires you to have medical insurance and sign a liability waiver. We cannot accept minors without adult supervision. If you are interested in working with ranch animals as a volunteer, we request that you first have participated in at least one ranch tag-along or hands-on tour. This gives you a chance to see how comfortable you are with the animals and working conditions, while giving us a chance to seeing your knowledge, physical abilities and skills to place you best. If you are financially unable to make a donation, we can arrange for you to contribute in some other way.
WHAT WE'D NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU
- Why you would like to volunteer
- What skills can you offer
- Please list the best times/days of the week for you to help

- What animals you are most interested in working with: dogs, horses, cattle, sheep, parrots, chickens, pigs
- How much weight can you comfortably/safely lift
